Hakin United 2 Pennar Robins 2 HAKIN blew a two goal lead and missed a penalty as their poor run continued at home to Pennar Robins.
And to cap a miserable day for the Vikings, Steve Mathias received his marching orders just before the final whistle.
Things had begun brightly for Colin Fawcett's men as they surged into a two goal advantage within 25 minutes.
Hakin hot-shot Aaron Owens bagged both goals and continued his claim to finish as the league's top marksman.
His first strike came with 15 minutes on the clock and owed much to Mathias' vision.
He picked out Owens' intelligent run and the striker did the rest to lift the ball over Michael Murray and give his side the lead.
His and Hakin's second soon followed. John Fawcett climbed to head a corner into his path and he found the net from close range.
There was only one side in the game now and the Vikings had a glorious chance to surely kill the game off.
Referee Evans pointed to the spot and Mathias took responsibility. He tried to place the ball into the corner but his spot-kick went agonisingly the wrong side of the post.
That seemed to wake Pennar up and they knew that the next goal would be critical. They fought hard and, with 15 minutes left on the clock, they reduced the deficit.
Gareth Stewart cut the ball back from the touch line and Brunton fired past Adrian Devonald.
And with just five minutes left Brunton did it again. Paul Sly's corner was swung into the near post with pace and Brunton nipped in to head the equaliser.
Hakin's frustration was obvious and Mathias took his arguments too far and referee Evans gave him the red card.
