New Dock Stars 5 Milford Haven 23 AFTER last week's excellent home win over high-flying Ammanford, Milford Haven travelled to New Dock Stars and once again came back with the spoils.
The confident visitors were leading 12-0 at half-time and they scored a further 11 points in the second period to seal the points.
Flanker Dean Aldred gave the Mariners the lead when he was driven over the line by his determined pack, with fly half Ian Rusinek adding the extras.
The second try wasn't long in coming after scrum-half Paul Evans sniped blind from a scrum and released winger Jonathan Coe who scored his second try in as many weeks.
After the break Ian Rusinek was successful with two well struck penalties to maintain the Mariners' pressure.
However, the home side replied with a well work unconverted try for left winger Daniel Edwards.
This slight hiccup spurned the Mariners on to score their third and final try through prop Darrell Jones who crashed over from short range to complete a very good away win!
Milford Haven: Bruce Evans (Matthew Marchant); Rob Sweeney; Matthew Reynolds; Rob Kingston; Jonathan Coe; Ian Rusinek; Paul Evans; Neil Phillips; Dean Matthews; Darrell Jones; Matthew Reynolds; Chris Saunders (Jack Kinnersley); Dean Aldred; Matthew Doncaster; Mark Wonnacott. Other replacements: Jonathan Madden; Dean Matthews.
