Culinary wizard of Oz

ONE of London's top chefs is to hold a cookery masterclass at Pembrokeshire Fish Week in June.

Australian-born John Torode runs Smiths' of Smithfield and is well-known as a weekly food columnist for the Mail on Saturday.

He co-presented the 2005 BBC2 series Masterchef goes Large, and was a guest chef on BBC2's Saturday Kitchen from 2004-5.

John was also the resident chef on ITV's This Morning with Richard and Judy for four years, and is the author of several cookery books.

"We are really pleased to welcome John to Pembrokeshire Fish Week," said Kate Morgan, Food Officer at Pembrokeshire County Council, which organises the event.

John will hold the masterclass at the Torch Theatre ion June 28th. The event has become one of the festival's highlights. Tickets are now on sale from the Torch Theatre Box Office on 01646 695267.
