Pembroke 79 Furnace 17 PEMBROKE guaranteed promotion with a 13-try demolition of Furnace at Crickmarren.
Ossie Boswell's Scarlets just need to win one more game from their remaining two matches to secure the title.
The game was all but over as a contest as the home side romped to a 38-10 half time lead.
Phil Greenwood opened the Scarlets scoring before wingers Huw Purser (2) and Steve Lewis got in on the act.
Scrum half Vyv Davies and outside half Phil Williams claimed tries, with Williams also notching four conversions.
The visitors were awarded a penalty try and there was a penalty and conversion from Wayne Morgan, plus another try from hooker Howard Williams which Morgan converted after the break.
Young Scarlets hooker Sean Beynon and youth team centre Mark Williams scored good tries for Pembroke before Vyv Davies and Phil Williams grabbed their second scores.
Replacement Martin Goodrick, centre Simon Cole and next season's skipper Richard Mason also crossed as Phil Williams added a further two conversions to complete the rout.
