Time to pack up your rabbit rifle, Cllr Crockett

Dear editor I read with great interest the article on the antics of Councillor `Davy Crockett' Ken Johnson and his rifle, trying to turn Milford Cemetery into the Alamo (Mercury, April 14).

I am sure the locals and the rabbit population can well do without that. So, I think we should all have a whipround and dispatch Davy and his rifle to Yellowstone Park, USA, to search for Yogie Blair, and, probably with some coaxing, send Jim Bowie as his assistant.
