Saundersfoot Sports Club snooker team clinched the snooker league treble on Monday night when they won the KO Cup.
They had earlier won the league and league cup, but this was the icing on the cake of a very successful season.
The format of the competition was five frames of singles on aggregate score.
Their opponents on the evening were Eddies Snooker Club A team of Haverfordwest, and the match was played in the Conservative Club in Milford Haven in front of a small but appreciative crowd.
In the first frame Mark Cleevely (Saundersfoot) played Darren Dalton. Mark got the pace of the fast table straight away and took an early lead with breaks of 12 and 13. Darren came back with 15, but Mark scored steadily and eventually won 52-38.
In the next frame Paul Merrimen (S'foot) played Martin Davies. Again the Saundersfoot player took an early advantage and took a handy lead. Martin pegged back some of the lead, but Paul won by 20 points.
The third frame saw Dickie Parcel (S'foot) take on former county singles finalist Raymond Hoare. There was some excellent potting in this free scoring game, without any big breaks. Dickie did have a 15 and scored steadily to win with a 36 point advantage.
The next frame saw Charles Davies (S'foot) play Gareth Davies. In a low scoring affair, with lots of safety, Charles eventually managed to grind out an 11-point victory.
In the last frame Graham Raymond (Eddies) faced the near impossible task of overcoming Saundersfoot's 79-point overall lead. What's more he had to do this against former county single champion Steve Davies. The lead proved just too much to overcome and Saundersfoot won the cup by a large margin.
The Conservative Club were thanked for their hospitality and the referees for the evening were Malcolm King and John Lloyd. Cap: League treasurer Alan Gordon congratulates John Lloyd on winning the highest break prize for the first division for the third year in a row with a break of 69.
